The view from the corner of Allen St. and Division St. on the Lower East Side has long been one of my favorite views of New York City. The previous version of this page featured a picture I took there January 2, 2001 after the New Year's blizzard. I photographed the same corner at approximately 9:30 a.m. on September 11, 2001, as seen above [both now archived here].
